ANDREW KRIVONOS
engineer/owner
Andrew Krivonos has established himself as one of the top recording and mixing engineers in New York, crafting a distinct style through years of studio experience with hundreds of clients. His sound - big and bold, punchy and polished – can be heard on hundreds of projects and is sought out by the biggest names in music.
Growing up playing in rock bands, Andrew’s fascination with audio propelled him to Five Towns College where he earned a Bachelor’s finishing with a 3.98 GPA. He worked at numerous New York studios including Atomic Recording, Multisound Studios, and Legacy Recording Studios with clientele ranging from Nas to the Bouncing Souls to Mariah Carey. He even worked abroad at Forward Studios (Rome) recording one of Italy’s biggest pop acts.
Deciding to work for himself instead, Andrew opened Southfall Studios in 2005 as a way for him to bring in his own projects. Word of mouth spread fast and by 2008 he had partnered with studio tech Joe Russo to expand his studio into a new facility in an old brewery, renaming the studio The Brewery. A year later, he partnered with Dot Da Genius to open the current facility. His passion and professionalism has been at the core of the studios success, building his versatile portfolio to include the likes of Wu Tang, Tally Hall, Kaci Battaglia and Matisyahu.
